GHS Vintage Bronze Guitar Strings
I have spent most of my life writing music and recording same. I have rubbed shoulders with some of the best. I have always tried to get the best sound I could get from my guitars. In the 50's I used only Black Diamond guitar strings which gave me the robust sound that I was looking for but, when Black Diamond strings were no more, I felt lost to the sound that I once had. Many… read more years later, I came across strings that were offered by Sweetwater,(GHS Vintage Bronze) that I took a chance on and I was sold. This set of strings put me back to the 50's and that sound that I once had. If you are looking for that deeeeeep bass and bright response and sustain, then these are the strings you need and have been searching and waiting for. Thank you Sweetwater for offering these strings, I am truly grateful. Rick
Great for Gibson J-45
These are the strings I use for my Gibson J-45. I've tried various other strings, just out of curiosity, but these sound the best. They're not overly bright like other strings. My style is folk-rock, mostly strumming chords with a pick. But they sound fine on my finger-picked songs also.
