The best there is ...
It is what it is .. it's the best there is .. Ernie Ball is the coolest there is! .. it alleviates my Peterson strobe stomp so I can set up my guitars and not have it on the pedal board now the pedal board has a volume pedal; for the price of a volume pedal and a tuner you can buy this and have both - one nice footprint on your pedalboard! way cool!!
Great space saver for the board
Overall great pedal, volume sweep is nice and balanced and the tuner is very accurate. Volume display 1-10 is a great feature also.
Frees Up Tons Of Space
I've contemplated one of these for a while and now I wish I hadn't waited. I needed to open up my pedalboard a bit but wanted a larger screen on my tuner which ruled out a mini pedal. This gives me the best of both worlds! I also really like that the screen shows the volume setting from 1 to 10. It makes it easy to set exact volume levels for each time.
Smart choice
This solidly built pedal I expect to keep delivering for years. I'm usually more impressed with my 50+ year old gear for being well made but this impressed me too. I only do studio work these days and move it between bass and guitar use. As drop D bass tuning has always been my thing I've not found many tuners helpful for the first string but this thing gets it right. Super simple… read more to keep in the tuning plus volume mode and just roll back volume to tune. You can't miss the big graphics. Running ~9 volume just feels right to leave that extra boost when you want it on guitar and to hold back transients from speaker pops on bass far more naturally in tone than adding compression.
Investment...
I initially balked at the price but saw this as an investment as I only play in my house and will never sell it. Saves on board space. I certainly didn't need a touch screen but man is it big and bright! Easy to see or disable should you prefer. Also it has the Kevlar chord instead of the string. So I think it's worth it if you see it as an investment. Looks and feels bulletproof.… read more I left the protective plastic on so any distorts in the pic is the result.
