Great practice amp
This amp is exactly what I needed for my acoustic guitar. It also works for bass and electric guitars. I am very pleased with it's performance. I am a new guitar player and wasn't sure what I wanted but got some great advice from Aaron in sales. Thank Aaron and Sweetwater for all your support.
So good!
I got this to replace the old dinner amp I shared with my brother....it did not disappoint! The clean is beautiful, the crunch is smooth, and the distortion is insanely awesome. Not only do you get a quality amp, but also a bunch of built in stomp boxes and pedals. I paired this with a Jackson arch top dinky, and it's a match made in heaven! For a budget amp, you CANNOT do any… read more better. My only critique is that there are no instructions to tell you how to get to some presets, and there's only one YouTube video by Peavey about the x1, so I'm still figuring stuff out about it. Buy this amp, you won't be disappointed!
Peavey Vypyr X1
im still figuring out everything on it, but so far its a really good amp. really nice sound and it has a lot of different settings.
Peavey Vypyr X 1
This is a totally amazing amp for the price! I am still learning all about the controls, but it is awesome right out of the box. I already own an older Vypyr VIP 3, and I bought this one for a practice amp. My only concern is that at my age (64) and health, I might not be able to understand all the instructions! :D
Solid budget amp
This thing punches above it's weight. I have only really used the stock settings and haven't really dug into it's modeling capabilities yet but it's plenty loud for a practice amp great tones. Very versatile as well as it can be used as a bass amp.
