First of all, the cool factor of this display case is very nice. To me there's nothing like an old tweed-style case to set a guitar off. I do have two reasons for using this case. I'm very proud of the guitar I have and I want people to be able to see it. The second and most important reason for buying this was that I want a climatized environment for my guitar to hang. This is… read more where it falls a little short of the mark. I have humidity regulation installed inside this case and there's simply too much air getting in around it to make that much of a difference. There is a slight discrepancy between the top of the case and the base of the case. The hinges were not installed correctly and there is some overlay from the case front to the case back. Although the plexiglass front is very nice for the display purposes it's not attached very well and there are gaps in it which allow the outside environment to get inside the case. This is the first Fender product I have ever purchased that left me wanting. If the friends of Leo are listening I would say this, The ante needs to be upped on quality control guys!!!

Mine had a tear in the leather end that looks to be from manufacturing and a blemish on the tweed. The marks aren't super noticeable but shouldn't be there at this price point. The latches didn't quite line up but it's staying closed anyway. The construction is nothing like my AVRI case but more like an off brand deal of the day. The case would have been good for maybe half… read more this price. It is pretty and easy to hang.

I just got 2 of these and both were tweed with red interior, they are abosulely the best cases I have ever seen and looking forward more to be in stock, a great combination of functionality, security and beauty. A wonderful way to display my highly collectible guitar collection and suitable for a formal setting to jazzing up the man cave.
