Great pickup
These come stock in Rick Turner Renaissance models and that is the first I became aware of this system.I own a few of the rick turner renaissance guitars . They have super high headroom and sound great.I don't know why more manufacturers don't use these. They have twice the headroom of fishman and baggs with the 18v preamp. I have two of them. I installed one in a 12 string Martin… read more and the other in my D45.It basically has two sounds . The under saddle pickup and the soundhole mic with a volume control for each .I would have preferred a tone control instead of the soundhole mic like the Rick turner version has as I like the undersaddle sound better. Overall very happy with the system .I run it thru an acoustic processsor pedal and EQ it that way. I like a punchy loud acoustic sound and that's what you get with these. Pick one up .You'll like it .

When I received my Guild D-55E in December 14, 2014 from Sweetwater Music Store. I found that the pickup system inside is the Seymour Duncan Wavelength Duo Pickup with Mic. So I have been experiencing the wonderful sound of a built in microphone in my guitar. It has the adjustment between the mic and the under saddle pickup. Meaning you can adjust the percentage of the mic or under… read more saddle to change the sound of your guitar. I like my setting at 70% mic. and under saddle at 30%. You will love it! Just two AA batteries power it with an 18 volt booster for more head room. I have received a lot of great praise from people who have listened to me play my Guild D-55E with this pickup system. I am thinking to purchasing one for my Guild JF65-12 string in the near future now that Sweetwater Music Store stocks it. The microphone inside the guitar picks up my voice and you can hear us both through the Amp or PA system.
