Awesome!
Installed in my PRS Tremonti Core! Made it sound like a monster with the perfect bottom end thorough my EVH EL34 100 Having the most high output pickup is not always the best. This in my opinion sounds better than most pickups I tried. Very Dime like with Wes Hauch personal touch!
Wait! is not what you think
I'm a Seymour Duncan user for decades so it's a bit difficult for me to write a bad review of a pickup, I have already tried the entire Seymour Duncan catalog and yet I found that this is the pickup that I like least, If you think this pickup is hot, well, it is not, with 14K it is very moderately wound, it does not fit in my criteria within a hot pickup compared to a JB or a Distortion… read more with 17K, however one of my first complaints is that other pickups as vintage as the 59 and A2P with 7-8K (that I have in other guitars) have more punch and kick than this pickup. the treble attack is overall soft and spongy, bass is tight but tends to sound a bit weak, mids are almost non-existent, I tend to think it was designed for low tunings, B or Drop A, but in standard D it's hard to appreciate this pickup. finally reinstalled my JB TB-4 and it was like a breath of fresh air, all the crunch, the kick and the dynamics came back, I don't know if I'm the wrong user, but maybe this review will help you
