Almost like adding an effects loop to your amp

This did EXACTLY what I was hoping it would do. If you run a reverb pedal before a clean guitar amp it sounds great. But, as soon as you set the amp to dirty the reverb is too strong and washes out. No matter how low you set the mix knob it still has too much reverb. This pedal allows much better control of the mix of wet/dry. I can now finally use my reverbs in front of my high-gain read more amps without effects loops. This is also a well made pedal and has a nice boost and eq feature. I would bet almost anyone could find a use for this pedal. Highly recommended.

FANTASTIC pedal!

I had a very specific purpose in mind when I bought the pedal. I wanted to 'dial down' my EVH Phase 90 to get the more subtle sweep Eddie gets on his solos. This worked PERFECTLY for that. What's nice is you can do the True Bypass and use your effect(s) as normal, or, when I want the subtle EVH phase thing, I adjust the dry/wet knob, have the blend button pushed, and then click read more on the true bypass switch to engage it when I need it. The added bonus was the boost you can get and ability to control the volume boost. While I have a clean boost that works great (RC Booster), when I have everything 'gained out' I didn't have a good way to instantly get a boost for solos. Well, this can do that wonderfully. I know it says only a 6 dB boost, but it sounds a heck of a lot louder than that. The only negative I can say is that when I put a bunch of pedals (4+) through it together, it didn't sound the same at all (it didn't sound good). Therefore, I went back to just the EVH Phase 90 through it. I think it's a great pedal and now that I have it, I wouldn't want to be without it.

This Pedal Solved My Delay's Bad Bypass Tone

I love the delay sounds of my TC Nova Delay but, when bypassed, the tone sounded a little "gutted". In looking for a solution, I purchased the Xotic X-Blender. This pedal allows your dry signal to always be present while the wet signal is layered over it. It's basically a 1 channel mixer with an Aux bus. A great feature about this pedal (aside from the tone controls) is the efx read more phase switch. This allowed me to put the delay tone in phase with my dry signal. You can also do some cool things with the Blend On/Off switch as well. Xotic is a great company. I highly recommend this pedal to solve any bypass issues.
