Hands down, awesome guitar
Went shopping for an upgrade to my $300 beginner spruce top Yamaha, which was terrific instrument. Played a set chord progression and picking tune on about 20 guitars priced between $500 and $1000. Great Guitar!!!
I recently purchased the Yamaha FGX3 from Sweetwater and am very pleased. Acoustically, it plays wonderful with a full tone. I did lower the action slightly which I due on most new guitars. The… read more finish, wood grain along with the ebony fret board and Gotah tuners are top notch. I have an original Yamaha Red Label Ghakki Mountain FG140 which is well used. Yamaha did a super job in keeping the original concept while adding a few innovations. Well Done!!!
