I always use Grovers, I buy 4-5 sets a year for my personal gear. However, with the MB style with these buttons (ace frehley style), both sets I have bought failed me. I have Grovers from the 50's and 60's that work like new still. I don't know what it is, but 4 tuning pegs have failed with this style, all 4 within 3 months of purchase, so I threw a regular set on, and like always… read more no issues.

I wanted to dress up the headstock on my SG special faded and I'll tell you it looks heavenly! They stay in tune and add a whole new look to the guitar. It's the little things. Might just have these as a somewhat signature on more of my guitars. Sweetwater also shipped them packaged very well and they got here in 2 measly days! Thank you!
