Nice upgrade

I purchased these as a replacement for a failed tuning machine on an Epiphone PR4e. They are almost half of what i paid for the guitar but the instrument has been super solid for me and i wasn't about to part with it. I really like the tuners, they seem to hold a very long time. The gold plating is a super cool finish and adds a very rich look to my instrument. They are just a bit read more heavy though and have changed the balance of the guitar. I play sitting so it hasn't affected me at all. Love the tuners, you will too.

New Graph tech tuners

I purchased the tuners from Sweewater who was great. The bad part of the tuners is, I ordered gold tuners and they sent me silver mounting plates. If you like the appearance of your guitar, you will have to pay more and order the gold plates that match your tuners. Doesnt make sense to me. If you order gold tuners, you should get gold playtes as well. Graph tech responded read more that I would need to purchase the gold plates. On a better note, the tuner function is really good. I like to different gears for different strings. Seems to perform really well.

I bought my first set for a fairly inexpensive takamine...they turn and hold like a dream. So when i got a new martin, with the classic open gear tuners (no thank you), i just ordered my 2nd set. I'd recommend these..i love 'em.

Graph Tech Tuners

Replacement for my Yamaha LL16 stock tuners and they fit without any additional drilling. They are smooth and hold my guitar in tune. These tuners are really good quality and I would have given them a 5 but the Inviso Matching Plate's finish don't match the tuners. If you want matching Inviso Matching Plates you will have to order them through Graph Tech, and that's an inconvenience read more and additional cost. Other than that these are high quality tuners.
