Great value and tone
The optical wah is superior to the old style like Dunlop and Vox among others. After going through two first gen models, they all started to break almost immediately. So, I stopped using a wah even though it's a great emotional pedal. The Morley has a lifetime guarantee too. Get one!
Fun fun
I'm a novice guitar learner. I have one other pedal which is more like an eq for my acoustic electric. I saw someone doing a Jimi lesson on YouTube using a wah pedal and it sounded cool, so this. Good reviews, nice price, made in America. And it sounds great. Only advice I would give is if you are powering it with a battery, make sure you unplug the cords when not in use. A… read more brand new battery only lasted a week. I plugged it in with the cord from the other pedal and that works fine. Also, this is listed as a "mini" but it doesn't seem small to me. If my photo works, that's a size 11 US next to it.
Great update!
I loved the old Stevie Vai Bad Horsie, but had to give it up due to incompatibility with some active pickups I had. When I saw this, I was immediately interested and with the good price I couldn't say no. So far, I love it. I've always been a fan of the auto-engage wah, so this is perfect. You step on and it starts to wah, you release and it shuts off. No hard stop with the toe,… read more no always ending on the thin tone. It covers a wide range of tonal spectrum and sounds great with clean and distortion sounds. My only complaint, which is partially my own issue, is the size. While it's compact and will fit great on a pedal board, it's a little small for my liking with a size 15 shoe. I know it's called the mini, so don't think that I didn't realize that when I bought it haha. It doesn't impact the playability or function at all, I think I would just prefer it be a little longer so more of my foot is able to make contact with it. Would not deter me from purchasing it again, and I would recommend it to anyone asking. Great product, great update Morley.
Wah wah wah!!
I own many wah pedals I've accumulated over the years. This wah is great for pedal boards as it is smaller and more accommodating not to mention it has a great sounding sweep, tone. It is built very solid as well and worth the money!!.. I am very pleased with this item. The best part of shopping with Sweetwater is their attention to customer detail/service, hands down the best of… read more all others!!
Great tone, great size, great price, and it's made in the USA
After having to return another popular baby mini wah that's made in China because the wah effect was so weak it was worthless, I searched around and rolled the dice on this one. I love it. The tone is a solid, rocking, classic wah tone. The size is just right....not too big, not too small. As you can see in the pic, it fits perfectly on a Friedman pedalboard without taking up too… read more much real estate. I also like how you don't have to turn it on and off. It's fun to support American manufacturing when they build great products like this one.
