Great for Live Performances
Gone are the worries of knowing if your wah pedal is engaged or not. Don't have to look for a light or listen to hear wah, not knowing if you hit the toe switch hard enough. This pedal makes it easy. You can easily use it on stage without even thinking about it. That's what I like best about it. The wah sounds are good. I recommend it.
This one grew on me
I'm not a big wah player but I have owned 2 variations of Crybabies and have a classic Vox. So I'm no expert but do know a thing or two. That said, the buffer is worth the cost of admission and it's #1 in my chain before the tuner. I love that there is no switch to go POP (my main gripe with most wahs). The sweep is pretty large as well. The WHOA mode gives an alternate voicing… read more and the lock feature is interesting. I'm a fan of Morley's 20/20 line and also recommend their Volume pedal.
Lots of fun!
This is so much fun and I'm playing it so often that it didn't take long to be good at it. I watched some you tube videos on it before I bought it and it performs just like in those videos. Because of this wah, I've expanded my bag of solo tricks and it really makes the guitar 'talk.' The locking wah gives some cool tones too. There's lots of wah pedals out there...I recommend… read more watching demonstrations on you tube before picking what you want. I am very satisfied with this one.
Great Pedal!
Been wanting to get my hands on a Morley for years! This is basically a cheaper version of the George Lynch Dragon Wah 2 Mini. Similar specs, great tone. The only thing missing is the tiger stripe paint job lol. The downside is no battery/power supply included and no manual. Other than that, great pedal!
WAHoo!
I have a mid 90's Morely Bad Horsie Two...great pedal but was looking to update and try something new. The new 20/20 Wah Lock checked all the boxes for me. I ordered from Sweetwater and it arrived quickly. Im still figuring out how best to use the Wah Lock feature but the basic-wah and whoa-wha modes sound really great. I may adjust the trip point and was sweep later but want to… read more give it more time as it came from the factory before opening the hood. Nice clear wah sounds great clean and with gain. I was also nicely surprised at how compact this little pedal is...perfect! Gripes are few: no power supply, no battery, no manual...again no big deal but be aware. Overall a solid piece of gear, highly recommend.
