It's a great option

They say it emulates classic 60s wah tones heard by the likes of hendrix and such. But I'm here to tell you that it does much more than that! I run it before a boss metal core on my board and man does it sound sick for high flying thrash tones! I can only compare it to a classic crybaby, but I much prefer the vox. The build quality, price point and sound all get two thumbs up from read more me, rock on.

Back in the day when I started getting better at playing(early 60's) I bought a Vox Wah Wah pedal. Really liked it and held up for quite a while. It was time to invest in a new one after 40 plus years.

The Basic Model In A Wah Pedal

I have several wah pedals, with most needs well covered, regarding the wah wah side of things. I just wanted to have the sound of an old VOX, like the one I had many years ago. This is definitely that "sound". The pedal motion is the smallest I can recall, a short to-and-fro, but the difference between high and lows are HUGE. Takes awhile to get used to. Nothing like a basic stock read more Dunlop wah, a totally different voicing than that. Pedal is very well made, a quality unit for sure.
