They say it emulates classic 60s wah tones heard by the likes of hendrix and such. But I'm here to tell you that it does much more than that! I run it before a boss metal core on my board and man does it sound sick for high flying thrash tones! I can only compare it to a classic crybaby, but I much prefer the vox. Back in the day when I started getting better at playing(early 60's) I bought a Vox Wah Wah pedal. Really liked it and held up for quite a while. It was time to invest in a new one after 40 plus years.

I have several wah pedals,with most needs well covered, regarding the wah wah side of things. I just wanted to have the sound of an old VOX, like the one I had many years ago. This is definitely that "sound". The pedal motion is the smallest I can recall, a short to-and-fro, but the difference between high and lows are HUGE. Takes awhile to get used to.
