Gets it done
Overall I am happy with the end result. Has a great filter range, and I like being able to adjust the level independently. And, of course being an optical wah the action is very smooth and quiet, and I won't have to worry about scratchy pots or an intermittent signal. Only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is it has a very noisy idle. Seems to be really fussy with pedal board placement.… read more I mean literally where you put it on your pedal board (not the signal chain). I recommend keeping it far away from your power supply, even a switch mode power supply. I don't really have that option with my current setup so I had to purchase a gate to quiet this thing down. You don't notice the noise while playing which is good. So yeah, as stated I'm happy with the end result, but it could have easily been a downer on a gig if I hadn't had the time to figure out the noise issue.
Morley power wah
Got this when my Vox, after 30+ years, died. Pleasantly surprised. A little more modern wah sound than the vox. Less noisy. Smaller footprint is not too small. The only thing I'm not liking is having to turn the wah on or off with the button on the side. Not used to that. Good pedal, well built. I'm gonna keep it.
