I was let down.
A ceramic slide (not porcelain) was the last kind of slide I didn't have, so I ordered this one. I hoped it would be comparable in tone and feel to my porcelain slide. On electric it won't matter but on acoustic, which is how I typically play slide, it is pronounced and ruins what I'm playing. It would also make for a tough record date. I'm a pretty decent player and this has nothing to do with muting and slide technique. It's an inherent issue with the outer surface of the slide. It's a shame because it's really nice looking and I've enjoyed other products in the line.
