Thin, but very solid for wood. I have smaller-sized hands and find most slides rather bulky. This Ebony one fits snug on my ring finger, but too loose one the pinky (bought the small because I have a size 8.5 ring). Regardless, I love the maneuverability of this slide. It also has surprisingly decent sustain, even on silky strings. Try one out!
