Outstanding Plus
Since I was looking to replace strings on my PRS Kestral Bass, that had the factory stocks from day one and had lost their tone, I posted on several forums(including talkbass and the prs forum) to ask and find out what other people used that owned this specific bass. Much to my chagrin, nobody responded. Except to recommend very high priced professional brands that were way above… read more my budget. Crazy huh? Anyway, I found Ben's review right here on the Sweetwater website that sold me. Ernie Ball? Sweetwater? Free Shipping? Under my budget? No Brainer. Just put them on and as described they are a great upgrade from the originals. Thanks to Ben's review and Sweetwater we're a satisfied player.

They sounds nice and balanced for finger-style playing but also provide some nice, deep chunk for picking/more aggressive… read more playing. My only gripe is I didn't put them on sooner.
Awesome Strings
I have spent a lot of time and money trying different strings that were the best of tension, feel and sound......After years of experimenting these are the answer to my quest. Great smooth feel, great sound, and the perfect amount of tension for pick playing. Best of all...The Price!!!!!
