Drop in installation, less than 10 minutes. The 6 saddle bridge has a more accurate intonation but lacks the bite of the original design. The difference in tone from the stock bridge to the three barrel is apples and oranges.

I bought a Player Telecaster last year in Butterscotch Blonde and I enjoyed it for a while. I decided I would modify it a little more to my taste, which included replacing the stock bridge with the vintage style ashtray bridge. A perfect fit for my Classic Vibe Tele. I had to drill the pickup screw holes out as they were a hair too small. Took only 30 seconds or so, nothing major. It's a lot nicer than the stock, and I love the brass saddles.
