Nice inexpensive Mando tuners

Don

I replaced the tuners on my $50 mandolin because I had to. These are much better and actually improved the tone of the instrument significantly (being in tune is a good thing, evidently). One thing that almost ruined my day was that the spacing of the tuners was different than the originals (not the fault of the product) ..however, after staring at it for a few minutes, I realized read more that if you swap the components off the new tuners onto the back plate of the old ... viola! - just so you know ..

Good service, good price

Service was great. Communications the best. Item was priced well and was exactly what I was looking for.

Easy installation

I installed these Grover tuners on a Jay Turser A-style. The original tuner keys were a bit large and more rectangular than oval shaped, causing them to be difficult to turn. These new tuners fit perfectly and with the smaller, oval shaped keys it is easier to tune.

MANDOLIN TUNERS

THE TUNERS WORKED GREAT. THEY DIDN'T QUITE FIT BECAUSE THE TOP KNOB WOULD HIT THE WOOD ON THE NECK. SO I INSTALLED THEM UPSIDE DOWN ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE AND THEY DID FINE. JUST HAVE TO REMEMBER TO TURN THE KNOB BACKWARDS TO TIGHTEN UP THE STRINGS.
