I bought these on a whim, just to try something different. I usually play GHS Boomers. I put these on my Geddy Lee Jazz and immediately noticed that when my hands got warmed up and sweaty that the strings felt sticky. I just could not get away from them! From a pure tone perspective they were okay, but they faded fast and within four weeks there was no presence left in them and read more I replaced them. I should note that I used them during three rehearsals (about 8 hours total) and roughly 12 hours of at home practice. I am back using GHS Boomers.
