Great strings - consistent, balanced, bright
These strings are perfect for bright but balanced round wound tone. I use them on 3 Fodera basses. They're wonderfully consistent as I barely ever need to adjust the intonation and truss rod between string changes, and even when I do they're super slight adjustments (this hasn't been the case with other brands I've used). Pay attention to the round-core string installation instructions… read more that come with the strings - most round wound strings on the market are hex-core (which again can lead to less consistency from those). For life, with regular playing you'll get 2-3 months out of these, less life than coated strings but on par with other round wounds I've tried. I recommend these as your go-to uncoated round wound strings.
