Great Strings
Well balanced. Not too bright sounding
Amazing
These flat wound strings are amazing. I appreciate the fact that these strings do not rip thru my fingers. Bravo!
Solid Performance
Fodera is the hi-end name is boutique bass guitars. And they absolutely deserve the accolades praised upon them. However, I'm using these strings on a Sadowsky Jazz bass 5, and found them to be an excellent happy medium between bright, mid-volume, clear articulation. Nice growl and overall tone. I found the volume to be lower than DR's, Dunlop, and Sadowsky strings. Strangely, the… read more B string was not on par with E thru G string- just seemed a little lack luster, and very quite. It could have been this particular set - I've played Fodera strings before (but on a Fodera Bass) and never noticed any issues with the B string. My feeling is depending on your needs, this is either the perfect set, or not enough power. For me it was not enough power.
