Exactly what I needed

I needed something that would work as a power supply for the Neural Quad Cortex. Along with the proper wattage usb wall charger (35 watts or more) it works perfectly. Very simple to use and small enough to fit almost anywhere.

Show this little guy some love – WORKS PERFECTLY!

Abridged version; buy the 529M it works as advertised. Can send varying degrees of power to power hungry pedals, or can be used at 9V using daisy chain to USB battery power a lower draw pedal board – my use… BUT, almost returned the 529M due to MY user error – I persevered; 3 things you need to learn and it mostly has nothing to do with the 529M product – USB Power packs:… read more 1) You need a Power Delivery "PD" delineated USB power pack (box stores do NOT understand this, and that is where most of my time in the USB / rabbit hole went). 2) To make certain the 529M will work flawlessly - you want the newer; Universal USB"C" to Universal USB "C" cable (not the USB "A" to "C", it might work but might not activate the PD communication – which is critical for the 529M, after it sees the "C" to "C" cable, everything just worked as it should - [so long as it is "PD"]!). 3) You will probably prefer a 9 Volt to 3 Watt experience (my understanding is you can use 9 V at 2A should work with low draw analog pedals – this has to be checked! Some power packs without "PD" have 5V outputs, not 9v-12v-15v, etc., these WILL NOT work, need the SPEC sheet to clearly state ~ 9V @ "X") . This has to do with running a battery operated power board. For this "easy set up" board, I have 6 analog very low draw 9V pedals. Final configuration draw is 64 mA which is nothing – my 10,000 battery will make it through several gigs and a rehearsal or two, the BIG battery 26,800 will last for days of playing. Some try to plug their HUGE digital multi effect power hogs into these, it will probably work, but I have found not the best practice for batter powered pedal boards. Lastly, have to highlight Sweetwater and Mission Engineering support... I was getting a little agitated – getting this product up and running – had to figure out where my problem was (the power packs)! After several emails and calls to both, finally figured out my issue, both Technical supports were extremely patient while I kelp buying different battery packs. But now I get it, will be using the newly designed pedal board for a large NYE in a night or two. Works PERFECTLY! Unbelievably useful

With this tool, I can power my pedals and even my ZT Lunchbox Jr. amp, which supports 12v power, with my Macbook's charger or any USB power bank. The mobility and freedom this little thing brings, particular when you are traveling, is simply astonishing. Highly recommended!
