Amazingly versatile power supply!

I researched several of the top recommended power supplies before purchasing, both in terms of the products themselves and in whether or not they would fit on my pedalboard. The CIOKS DC-10 won, hands down. I noticed another reviewer said that the DIP switch chart on the bottom of the unit is confusing and that is not true. Mine came printed crystal clear, not to mention it's in read more the manual, along with notes on what each switch does. You can pretty much use it straight out of the box, with no adjustments, unless you need to merge ports 5 and 6, or switch the latter ports to 12v. It's that easy. The selling points for me were durable construction, no heat, no noise, ten ports, small size, low weight, and the fact the my pedalboard manufacture Aclam, makes a form fitted mounting bracket for it, especially for their pedalboards. Seriously, you cannot go wrong with this power supply.

Had it for well over a year now

This isn't a confusing power supply, I don't know why it has a three star review. 8 isolated power sections, insanely quiet, and you can run any pedal you want off this (other than super vintage pedals of course). I run multiple 18V pedals by Catlinbread via this bad boy and it's very quiet, and the quality is seriously fantastic. I don't think anyone really needs more than 10 read more outlets but that's just my opinion. I love this thing and it'll be on my board forever. Buy one and move on, it's a power supply.

Confusing

I decided my board was too big and spent a lot of time deciding EXACTLY what I wanted in a smaller board. Once I figured it I began looking for power options and heard great things about the dc10. IN MY OPINION this psu has too much going on. I read what it did over and over to make sure it could do what I needed it for but between dipswitches, a million cables, finding out I needed read more to use 2 outputs for a third 300ma pedal, a bunch of confusing cables... it was very overwhelming. The information included didn't make things more clear. There are instructions printed on the bottom of the psu which were almost illegible so I had to look at pictures online. I reached out to Cioks for help and they were wonderful. They looked at my pedals and gave me a way to make it work. Excellent service. In the end the whole experience just felt bad and bummed me out. I decided to just return it and the additional cables I had to order and buy a Strymon Zuma for $50 more. I'm sure the dc10 is perfect for someone who has a bunch of different power requirements but as someone with 9 center negative 100-300ma pedals I think something simpler is better.
