Amazing sound!
These are the best flats I've ever owned! I have owned a 1974 4001 Rickenbacker for 22 years and it has never sounded better. I was tuning up at a gig right after I put them on and a woman came out of the restroom and said, "Did you get a new guitar? It sounds so much better!" They really make that much difference. I bought the Gold to match my Mapleglo body, looks awesome!
Big difference
I wanted to make by Ibenez electric Bass sound more like an upright. Success! Powerful, mellow, consistent tone, smooth transition. I love the sound.
There La Bella's and there Gold , Gold bass string
If you would of told me over 40 years ago when i was 13 years old plucking my first short scale Mustang bass that one day i would be playing gold bass strings on all of my bass guitars I would of laughed and said you gotta be kidding me. Great strings!
They're a little 'grabby', that takes a little getting used to, but they sound great!
Great Sound and I love the feel!
I love the sound and play-ability of these strings, I've played bass on and off now for 43 years and apparently been living under a rock cause I just found out about these. LaBella has knocked these strings out of the ball park.
