These strings are significantly better than the factory strings om the Hofner Ignition Series violin bass. Great tone and feel. Certainly allows the bass to sound like those early Beatles recordings. Also, they enhance the bass's mellow, woody tone, allowing for a decent double bass like sound. Oh, and they fit well too.

I recently purchased La Bella Deep Talking Bass Guitar strings for my Hofner Club Bass. They were easy to install and really improved the tone and playability of my bass. It was a wise purchase and a great experience dealing with SweetWater and in particular Damon, who followed up and made sure I was satisfied. It's a 10 out of 10 for me!

This is my second set of La Bella Beatle Bass flatwounds. The first set went on my Hofner copy (Rogue) that stays at my cabin. I loved the way they felt and played so much that when I finally bought a real Hofner, it had to have La Bellas! these are the only strings I'll use on my Hofner 500/1 Violin bass. the strings are great and are the only strings that fit into the narrow opening on the Tuners.
