Smooth and Mellow

These strings have a real smooth feel to them. They also provide a mellow upright-type sound. However they diminish the brilliance if you're used to slapping and a more aggressive playing style. But the mellow tone has its own characteristic that works well for Jazz, Blues, holding a solid bottom, and the M-town J Jamerson sound.

Got the upright bass sound I was looking for. Going to try them on a new Ibanez I have on order with Sweetwater...hoping for same relative results!
