You'll never need another amp... ever :)

Love it :) Well, except for the 42lbs it weighs...It has a master volume knob to knock off the gazillion decibels the 30W throws out. Last show I did, the sound guy said it was too loud to mic and I played straight off the floor :)Last week, I used a Weber attenuator that takes the total head output and 'turns it down' before the speaker cab.  Sounds much better than using the… read more master volume switch which sounds thinner (lacks sonic balls).Not sure why amp manufacturers put the master volume module before the power tubes as only a small current is going through the EL84s thus effecting the sound. In short, the master volume switch is good for the apartment but all the tubes love to be driven hard if you can ;)Takes pedals very well. The hot switch gives you Marshall like sound and removes the requirement for an overdrive pedal depending on the sound you want. Some people complain about the plastic heat vents, but this was to avoid hot metal burns; it was not a 'cheap out' decision.Not keen on the colour. Think they could have come up with something union jack like or a different colour and grill altogether.

Wow!

All I can say is wow! The AC30HWHD 30-watt is an amazing addition to my arsenal (Diesel VH4 and Divided by 13 RSA 23). Multiple flavors of clean tones. I have an iso room that allows me to crank up the amp volume and then back the volume down on my guitar for sweet sounds; and then turn up the guitar for that perfect distortion. Cream of the Crop

I am playing through a 2x12 with Eminence Red Fang speakers. Some amps need to be pushed to get any kind of usable clean tone. Not this one it sounds good at any volume, any setting. It's great with boosters too but they're not strictly required. Hot boost adds a ton of midrange, gives the amp an extra voice. Love using that with fuzz pedals. Great Amp

I've always been I huge fan of the early 60's to mid 70's music (of all genres...no disco) so an ac30 was always high on my list especially a hand wired and half the price of a boutique you can't beat it sounds beautiful and even drives hard enough for hard rock with the addition of the hot boost.
