Caused a "fit" problem with my hard shell case.
Music Nomad is a favorite company of mine. Schaller is also. Standing alone their product offerings are top notch, IMHO. Pairing the Music Nomad Acousti-Lok strap lock with the REQUIRED Schaller-S strap locks forces me to remove the strap completely from my guitar in order for it to be put in it's case. The extension caused by pairing the Music Nomad Accousti-Lok with the Schaller… read more locks at the lower bout precludes the guitar fitting in the case. The guitar in question is the Epiphone IBG Hummingbird with the correct Epiphone HSC.
Awesome!
This works on a Gretsch Gin Rickey, for anyone wanting a better way to put strap on it.
Works great!
This is a great little product, really well made and finally addresses the issue for acoustic guitars. I know some folks dislike strap locks but personally I'm a big fan as I like to move about and appreciate the added security. The only thing I would add is a small set screw to help keep it in place.
Fits perfectly on my Guild D-120CE
Does what it's supposed to.
Finally!
This product was announced 1 day before I was about to start drilling holes and relocating the jack on a new 850 buck guitar. Since I double on harmonica (requires two hands), my guitar has to float and it won't do that reliably without strap locks. This solves that problem. One important point to bring up and the ad copy doesn't really make this clear without doing a bunch of… read more research is you don't have to be a Shaller strap lock kind of guy. I have about 10 instruments and probably 15 "favorite" straps. All equipped with Dunlop strap locks. Too late in life to switch to another brand. The MusicNomad was easily converted by simply removing a bolt (6-32) and shortening it about 3/16" and bolting on the Dunlop pin in place of the Shaller My wire strippers have cutters designed to effortlessly cut small machine screws so the process was painless and took about 5 minutes. MusicNomad might improve their ad copy and perhaps even throw in the shorter machine screw so Dunlop users aren't left wondering. The ad copy also does not address later model Taylors with the end pin jack protruding through the small chrome plate with three screws. I'll have an opportunity in a few weeks to experiment with a friends Taylor so I'll report back when I do.
