Fender replacement parts
When building a Strat, I can't think of any parts I'd rather have them Genuine Fender Parts. They are consistent and predictable. The one thing you don't need in a build is surprises. It's nice to know the Sweetwater has any of the parts I might need at any given time, as well as Fender made guitars. Special shout to Ryan Murray for his Five years of assisting me with every… read more kind of purchase from 2.00 parts up to 8,000.00 instruments and many things in between.
Quality Guitar Hardware and Easy to Install
I purchased this for a project guitar I am working on. Not only are these a solid 2 point tremolo, but they are fairly easy to install as well. If you are purchasing a guitar body that will drill for the sleeves for you, then that will make it far easier for you to install and set up the tremolo. Anyway, I highly recommend this tremolo to anyone looking for a 2-point trem that feels solid, and works fantastically.
Making a Mex Strat American...
I received the new Strat Bridge Assembly and waited for the rest of the parts ordered for this refab project. On Friday night, May 18, 2018, I removed the strings and the bridge with its six screws and 3 springs. I positioned the new bridge assembly in place after setting the saddles the same way they were in the old one and marked the hole-centers. I drilled the outside screw-holes… read more from the old bridge to fit dowels and fit them in place with a little glue and made the tops flush with the body. After a while, I drilled the 3/8" holes where I marked them and place the brass mounting inserts in place and flush with the body-top. All-in-all, it was a fabulous experience. I also installed new RATIO tuners on it and I put it all back together and it set up perfectly. I am so pleased with my Stratocaster.
