I threw these (along with a saddle-style bridge) on my Player Series Tele for a vintage look and they look amazing. They make changing strings so much easier and they hold tune incredibly well. They do require pilot holes/screws to be drilled into the headstock. It wasn't a big deal for me since I'm not concerned about resale value. Not that it defaces the headstock by any means,… read more but keep in mind that they do not drop into the the sockets the way Fender locking tuners do. Overall, they deliver fashion and function.

Upgraded a bullet telecaster from the stock tuners to stock MIM fender tuners to these and these golf tube much better and I get a more precise tune when turning the key. These are harder for me to use when restringing but I know I just need practice. These look great and were very affordable. They did not fit the holes in the bullet tele head stock so I had to use aftermarket bushing… read more but that was not an issue at all.
