The auto cut feature is the Nuts!
I have fender, PRS and now these D'Addarios. I put these on the Koa Epiphone Les Paul. Work just like the Fender's, but you just pull the string through, tighten at the right length, and start tuning, the excess string just pops off with nothing sticking out--way cool and another time saver.
PERFECT in my Schecter Corsair
Have a 2010 Schecter Corsair gold tops. These dropped right in with no mods even the screw hole lined up. also new pickups but I was pretty surprised there I didn't have to modify anything. Also I originally ordered a different set but the rep called and told me they had a delay and he recommended these which I think were a much better choice.
Gary
Have not had the product very long but so far the planet wave tuners work very well. They perform as advertised and stay in tune as well as cut the strings off while tuning. Very satisfied with this product.
Love these!
Just installed on my Takaminie. Love the auto cut feature and precise tuning. Stays in tune once new strings are stretched. Looks great with my solid black guitar. Will be buying more.
Excellent
I love these so much that I've put them on most of my guitars. Not only do the look great, but function well, and make stringing easier.
