Love At First Sound!

I have heard a lot of different tube amps but none of them ever really moved me. I never could justify buying one. I heard the Bassbreaker 15 and I just kept coming back to how good it sounded on the high gain setting. I finally bought one. I changed out the stock tubes for ones that are typically used in heavier music. One of my best purchases ever.

Just what I needed

All the previous reviews say it all. I read all the great things others had to say and I took a gamble. I was using my line 6 Helix direct to a pa system, which sounds good but there was that warm sound that was missing especially without a tube amp feel. I hooked up my helix through the amp and ran the emulated line out (XLR) to my mixer and what a difference! My tones are so much read more better! I plan on getting the bassbreaker 2x12 cab or a frfr cab to go with the amp. Of course I will buy it from Sweetwater!

Amazing Amp

Just amazing amp.If you can't make amazing tones:clean crunch, distorsion , then you really need some guitar lessons. Amp is excellent. This one is spacial because you get more then what you pay for. I am using mine with Rivera MiniRock and Mooer Radar for recording.

Can't Stop Playing Through This Amp!

High Chime when you want it. Rock with Guts. Beefy, Awesome Crunch - no OD reqd! Gets LOUD! Super FLEXIBLE - covers VAST tracts of sonic forest. I play Classic Rock (crunch) and Rockabilly (cleans). This amp is landing at all of the musical airports I fly into.Friend has the Bassbreaker 15 combo; Now - experimenting with speaker combinations, and I decided to go with the 15W read more head. LOVE THESE STOCK TUBES! Reverb is good - does not get in front of the sound, but enhances it. My pedals all belong out front - efx loop nice option for future pedals. Can't wait to try the XLR Direct Out. I haven't made it past Gain Structure=Medium. Running it at 8ohms through a pair of 212 cabs (Eminence GB128 + GB128) (Eminence Texas Heat + Cannabis Rex); Gibson LP Classic with 57 Classic/57 Classic+ pickups - Bourns POTs and Paper-in-oil CAPs.Just at a basic level - If you require being able to play two string (muted) that performs CPR on your chest cavity (The Cars/Best Friend's Girl, The Beatles/Saw her standing there, Buddy Holly/That'll be the day) - you have found your amp.The chest compression is real - have fun, now!

CLEAN TO MEAN!!!

Long time Musician and gear Junkie 40 years and Running. Owned a lot of Handwired Boutiques and probably most of the Fender line Amps as well. To me Fender has hit a Homerun with this Amp. I Love the Cleans this Amp provides as it works Great with my Pedals and it can get down and Dirty as well. I own a Dr. Z Maz 18 Jr which is a great pedal Amp as well and I can honestly say I read more put this Fender Bassbreaker 15 head right up there with it. I will not get rid of either of these Amps as it has taken me a long time to get the Tone I have so long desired. Though both Amp give me something a little different in Tone, they are both Extremely pleasing to my ears and give me that feel that I look for. The Bassbreaker is a very versatile amp and could actually be used with no pedals at all if you chose. It's an extremely reasonable priced Amp for all it does. I also added the Bassbreaker 2x12 cab and love it equally as well. Sweetwater is the place to buy. Aaron at Sweetwater had a tall order working with me and he worked hard to put me in the Amp that suited my needs. His patience with me was such a blessing to me. He wanted me to be pleased with my purchase and he made it happen. Love the Amp and Sweetwater is Awesome and Stands behind what they sell.
