I called Mike Godlove on a Friday morning and ordered this pickup and on Monday it arrived. Talk about fast service! I've been using a Sunrise pickup in my other guitar for about 35 years and I think this compares to it. This might be one of the best magnetic pickups going right now. I'm going to add my K&K pickup to this guitar as well but it sounds great on it's own. Sweetwater… read more has the best service!

I am very pleased with the quality of the Black Angel. I installed it in an unusual piece; a Bruno 150th anniversary parlor type guitar with an exact 3.5 inch sound hole. The installation was fairly easy, as I did not route the connector through the end strap peg. I set it about 2 inches below the peg, out through the center of the side of the lower bout. The sound is excellent… read more and the phase switch is right on the money for my needs. It took very little adjustment on the B pole to tweak it in.
