AWESOME

This is a very unique pedal. I wanted something to sweep very slowly without using an expression pedal. Although this has the option. The different wave shapes are fun to use. I use this pedal for bass and it's incredible. Experimenters would love this thing.

The Blurst

Another great pedal from EHX. Very versatile - can be set for subtle modulation to thicken your sound, or can get weird to add accents to a piece of music. Works well with dirt, and it can be set to add a nice swirling woosh. Just got the pedal, so I think there is still a lot more experimenting to do to find sounds. Sweetwater, and in particular, Chris Barry provided amazing customer read more service, checking on the details of my order right after they got it, even making a phone call to me!!! Wow, a human actually calling a customer to make sure an online transaction is going smoothly!!! Plus, Sweetwater's price for The Blust was the best I saw. Was my first purchase from Sweetwater, but surely won't be my last.

So for the most part this pedal is kind of bunk, as I find most of it's features fairly unusable in musical contexts. As a background I play live improvisational electronic rock and use lots of wild effects. What I do use this pedal for is a expression controlled low pass filter with BOTH blend and volume knob, and it definitely delivers great sound and easy to dial in. I've done read more a lot of research and this is the least expensive option for that. I was using the EHX qballs enigma before this, but found that without a volume control the volume boost wasnt usable. Other comparable (albit more expensive and controllable options are the Moog mf101 and the iron ether xerograph deluxe. This is the poor man's option.

No depth control for lfo

Cool pedal but I think it's silly that there's no depth control for the lfo just some range control and a preset depth. The tap tempo is kind of not so great. I just wanted to do sweet rythem effects with it but it just didn't work how I wanted it to. Still a cool pedal but I was disappointed
