Ive been playing Banjo Live for many years now and have tried everything from the EMG active Banjo Pickups to crappy stick on eBay piezos. this thing sounded amazing instantly. there's no finding the sweet spot and messing around with positions. It's easy to mount,unobtrusive and resistant to feedback. I've wrestled with microphones for years, but this gives me the volume I need and simplifies my setup. I can even love the price! Call Cliff Hackleman and buy this.
Perfect for banjo or ganjo.

The KNA BP-1 pickup sounds natural and is very easy to install with no drilling or adjustments to my banjo. It clips easily onto the bridge of the instrument then plug in a standard guitar cable. I run mine into a preamp/DI for EQ and easy our to a PA but you can also go straight into an acoustic guitar amp.

The KNA banjo pickup is a solid piece of hardware but it requires some extra work to get going. I use it with a Deering Goodtime Open Back Banjo. I would suggest if you are in the Universal Audio Ecosystem to use UAD Woodworks with the pickup or a good preamp as it really improves the sound and twang!
