Brutal shred single channel love greatness!!

This amp shreds. Period. I'm a bit of a tone snob. I've owned lots of high end gear (and lots of not so high end) over the years so I know the tone I love through much trial and error. Over 28 years playing mostly at a pro level, I'll admit that my first 10 years my tone was crap. I've played and owned many fenders, Mesa's, a Komet, several Cornford, Splawn, Badcat, a Trainwreck… read more clone, a splawn modded Marshall (I wish I still had) and many more I'm forgetting. I've had this Dr.Z for about a year now and this is far and away my favorite high gain sound. The notes LEAP off the fretboard. I have not found a bad sound. It is not a clean amp but can clean up ok. It excels at metal MADNESS and makes fast playing way too fun! Sounds great at bedroom volumes and gets better and better the more you crank it up. The eq is super responsive and useful. Personally I've never been a fan of vintage 30's but they compliment this amp VERY well. The build quality seems great. Love this amp.
