Wah upgrade
This pedal works just as I had hoped it would! The adjustable boost is perfect for wah solos. No longer have to hit solo patch first, then go to wah. Also no button to push. As soon as you step on it, it's on wah. Q sweep is also great feature for dialing in what you want. Best wah I ever had.
Five Stars!
I've always loved my original Zakk Wylde Crybaby, but this pedal takes it to the next level! I love the tone and how it activates with just touching the pedal. A+
Great features on a great Wah
I had been using a standard Vox wah a few years now, always enjoyed the sound, although I thought the sweep was a tad on the dark side, this pedal has so many useful features, it really is great. The Q helps me select how squelchy I like the sweep and I am using the boost feature, +15 db of boost available, really didn't think I would use it, but it is great! I always felt the volume… read more of any wah drops a bit when you are using it, but this takes care of that, no problem. I got this because the wah activates as soon as you depress the pedal a touch, not sure I was going to get used to it, but after one band rehearsal I was loving it, I don't have to press toe down to activate when I'm taking a solo, can't recommend this pedal enough, loving it folks.
24 years playing this pedal
I bought this pedal in 1994 when I was at GIT.Literally the same one I use today, It has lasted over 24 yrs!!This thing has been on everyone of my pedal boards and has been used for countless gigs, tours, recordings, etc. It has been used on every album I have ever played on that called for a wah. This was the first and only wah I have ever owned, I didn't buy it because of the… read more switch-less feature, it just happened to be the one they guy grabbed when I asked for a wah pedal.Since then I have grown to love it and will buy another If this thing ever dies on me.I love being able to change the q and volume.Love the tone.Love the feel.LOVE LOVE LOVE the switch less feature.the main complaint that some people have is the little squelchy noise it makes right before it disengages...That is one of my favorite things about it!I am the kind of player that loves and appreciates quirky, unpredictable, and unduplicatable noises on recordings. As I'm writing this I am listening back to various recordings and absolutely love that little mystery noise as the wah turns off. I have told countless engineers to "leave that in the mix" it adds character.Safe to say I got my $ (1994) worth out of this magic pedal.Thank you DUNLOP!!
Favorite wah
This is my second 95Q that I purchased for my smaller travel sized board. Has so much quack to it.
