Your outstanding customer service
Ryan and your team were amazing! Gave me the benefit of the doubt on the product being defective, and took great care of me! Integrity is a word and action being phased out of our culture today, and I'm glad you folks at Sweetwater still know what that is!!!!
Recorded Sound through loop machine
The price was great 25% less than anywhere else. Played live through my practice amp this makes my 05'Takamine Supernatural sound great. The only thing I noticed when I run through a loop machine my RC20 XL boss, it plays back with distortion. I'm sure if I give them a call so the guy is a Sweet water will probably help me out with this which I have not done yet otherwise getting… read more a product quick and easy, and they have followed up several times via email.
The CTP-3 rocks
I bought a very lightly used Takamine 1997 LTD in practically mint condition in almost every regard, but I found the electronics to be really lacking. I worked on the amp and replaced several capacitors by hand, and it improved but it was still tinny and weak. I wanted this guitar to be a good stage and studio backup for the Tak97 I already had, and I had to replace the preamp.… read more I bought the CTP-3 and lordy lordy I have not been disappointed. The on board tuner would be enough, but the sound is incredible - full, luxurious, and powerful. I loved the Tak97 preamp but this it the best acoustic guitar preamp I've ever put on a guitar. I've already bought a second one and I'll be installing that on my main Tak97 and re-recording everything I've done with the new preamp. The installation is easy if you understand how to get the old preamp out. Find a CTP-3 installation video on YouTube and follow the very simple instructions and it's a 15 minute job. Treat your new preamp with care until it's in the guitar - it has a real tube in it (!!!), and it's visible and will be exposed until you install it. Go Takamine! You hit this one out of the park!
