Great 12
This thing is so much fun. Paired with a blues jr and a jangle box, I'm living in the 60s.
This thing rules
I looked at these guitars online for months. Watch tons of demos. Really wanted one, but wasn't sure I wanted to drop $ on a limited-use instrument. Decided to just go for it one day, and I could not be happier. The guitar arrived in tune and set up very nicely, and 3 months later it still stays in tune as well as most of my 6-strings. If you're looking at these Dano 12ers wondering… read more "how often would I really play a 12-string? Is it worth it?" -- trust me, it is. I haven't been able to put mine down.
VERY happy with this guitar
Have had and do have a lot of guitars in my life. This is THE best 12 string for playability that I've ever owned. Nice neck for my fatter shorter fingers, good tone, easy to play, and sounds great. One tip......... get yourself a chromatic tuner. less than a minute to tune up with it. Cant say enough about the guitar though.
Great tonal diversity and playability
Couldn't be happier with the guitar. Came perfectly set up and nearly in tune out of the box. The playability is much better than expected. Low action and the neck finish is great. The humbuckers sound great and the split-coil option is super convenient.
Unbeatable Guitar for the price
I bought this Danelectro because I'd seen it used in a number of YouTube videos and thought it sounded great in those. Luckily, it sounds just as great in person. Considering the low price on this model, it's hard to believe how well it's built and how good it sounds. I also have a 12-string Rickenbacker and a 12-string Gretsch, both much more expensive than this one, and the Danelectro… read more sounds as good as both of them. Plus, its neck and body style make it fun to play. Highly recommended!
