Excellent Gadget

I play in a high energy metal band. We have an opening in the setlist for a guitar change, which usually takes 15 to 20 seconds if everything flows properly. On stage and to the crowd, that short time can feel like an eternity if it is spent in silence or the banter is not on point. I coupled the Data Corrupter with a loop pedal to provide an unexpected whacky fill for that time read more period, and it seems to go over very well. I really like the way it pulses in and out, in glide mode, when the input signal is wavering, or has stopped.

The Data Corrupter is loaded with so many "usable" unique sounds!! I ve seen demo vids on utube saying it s best when playing "single note or power chords." That s not necessarily true. I ve played Hendrix s "Stone Free" "Midnight" and "Purple Haze" using E7 #9th chords and full barre chords. The songs sounded great and the chords were clear, with very wicket overtones. Once you read more learn how to "tweak" this pedal the limits are endless. And, for making "trippy synth" sounds it s incredible. It does take up a lot of "real estate" for players that utilize pedal boards but oh man, is it fun!!

Great, Weird Pedal

I've had this beast for a few weeks now and after I managed to tame it and reel it in to an effective starting point, what I found was a pretty sweet sounding octave-fuzz pedal. Once I started turning the other knobs and adding in the oscillator I discovered a whole world of sounds. This is definitely not for everyone, but if you're adventurous and have a creative/experimental read more slant to your playing, this is a great pedal to add to your arsenal. I'm yet to even crack into the more bizarre sounds this pedal is capable of, which I think is the mark of a great device. I look forward to discovering rest of what this thing can do. Well played, Earthquaker. Well played.
