Great Marshall tone for home use levels!

This amp is perfect for home use without driving the family nuts. Make no mistake it can get really loud if you want. I prefer the 1 watt but you can drop it to 1/2 watt to keep volume down without sacrificing tone. I took two Marshall mini stack speakers cabs (slant/straight) and added two 8ohm celestion G10 vintage 60 watt speakers in series to achieve the 16ohm output from the read more amp. Created an awesome tubed mini stack. Very happy with my guy Chris K. from Sweetwater. Great amount of knowledge to help achieve your vision.

What a Dream! DSL1 with a 4x12

What a dream!!! I am not going to spend too much of your time, because I believe you already what you can expect coming out of a Marshall bundle like that, a Marshall head and a 4x12 Marshall cab. The cabinet is a MX412AR 240-watt 4x12" Angled Extension, which "is the perfect complement to your DSL100HR head. This angled 4 x 12" extension cabinet is loaded with a quartet of Celestion read more G12E-60 speakers"... What A Dream!!! I have to learn how to manage that beast now, eventhough it is a 1 Watt type of amp, but I already felt that is loud enough for a home user/apartment user like myself. But I'll enjoy that badboy as much as I can now!!! Thank you Sweetwater, Mr Spencer Pyles and the whole crew for the second to none support that they are always ready to provide!!! It's been a pleasure to do business with you guys!! Thanks!!

More than sufficient wattage for any home from small to large with no tone sacrifice. Sweetwater customer service ( my sales agent is Jacob L) is the best. Not going to buy new gear anywhere else! They really take care of their customers no matter what!

Holy Grail Bedroom and Studio

I'm a fairly experienced guitar player who has 2 kids, dog and a wife. They hate my Orange half stack. Big time. I messed with it through my orange combo pictured below and that was dope. Anyway, I built a 1x12 guitar cab to use as a "mini amp head" platform. I think you need to know what your intentions are before buying any amp. This one is giggable if you must. However, this read more bad boy is a dream for bedroom & studio rock. The effects loop is a big plus. It rocks surprisingly loud for 1 watt too. I plugged it into my 4x12 cab and pissed off my whole house in no time! I can't tell you how nice it is to be able to crank a Marshall head without the family complaining or my ears spraying blood. Figure out what your intentions are and buy this beast. Or get the 20 watt if you need best of both gig and studio worlds.

Perfect bedroom amp!

Using a 1x12 cab with a celestion A speaker. What a perfect bedroom amp. Clean channel is very bright and not great for pedal use but the overdrive channel is your classic marshall saturated gain. Dial in those perfect rock tones from acdc etc. Great amp!
