I've played D'Addario strings forever. (OK, just 45 years) Love them! I have usually put XL160s on my basses, but I decided to try the XL170BT set. I am in love! My P bass plays like butter. Great feel and the usual D'Addario quality and sound. Super recommended!

Plenty of punchy 'umph when finger plucked. Overview: Well made. Plays in quickly. Holds tune well. Good feel. Excellent full range of tone.
