As a lefty, it is hard to find guitars and basses that you can actually play before you buy or if you can, you have to pick the one model they have in stock. I was lucky enough to visit the Sweetwater store where I got to pick up and play a variety of guitars and basses. When I was in the Bass room, my daughter insisted I pick up this bright Miami blue jazz bass. When I sat down… read more to play it felt like nothing like the two basses I had at home. The tone, the feel of the neck, the weight, it was pretty **** near perfect. It took me two days to convince myself that I needed that bass and I was able to work with my Sweetwatersales rep to get it shipped to me that day. Great everything about this purchase. Thanks!

This bass sounds a plays amazing. Satin finish neck is wonderful and the bright tone of the pickups are awesome and u can just turn the tone up a little and it takes the brightness away a little. Best bass I've ever had.

Fender has figured out how to make the perfect bass. The feel on the neck is unbelievable. The tone is strong and clear. As far as I'm concerned, there is no other manufacturer or a need for one. Just the new Fender !!!
