Nice block

El Reed

This does a nice job of stopping the tremolo arm where I want it to stop. Turns a floater into a palm mute monster. As always, Sweetwater is my best source for music gear.

Good for setting up (restringing, intonation, etc).

I only use this for set ups. Sure you can dive down, but you hear a "clunk" when the block comes in contact with the stop. I suppose this might be helpful if your picking hand is heavy and pitches up the strings when palm muting. However, as another review noted the product needs a locking nut for long term use.

Amazing floyd rose setup tool

This is the perfect tool to set up a floyd rose guitar. "Block" the floyd with it, being perfectly level and then crank springs down. Tune guitar, set intonation. When complete, "unblock" the trem and tune guitar with screwdriver by adjusting the springs and your floyd will be perfect. I'm buying more now for my other guitars. I always play fully floating and only use this read more as a setup tool.

It works

Works great, but needs a nut to make set screw rigid enough to function properly.Lowe's to the rescue
