A Sledgehammer

Initially I went with a Mark V 35 but returned it because I didn't get wowed by the sound. Nice little amp but not my cup of tea. My rep Rob Amaral suggested I try this 1/4 stick of dynamite called the Revv G20. As soon as I plugged in I knew this thing delivered a punch. It is super portable. No cab needed, if you need to play in quiet situations. Just plug straight into the board read more or use headphones. It offers 6 simulated cabs to offer versatility. The clean channel is superb. Comes with a nice handy bag to transport. Footswitch is a must for ultimate control. Fat tube sound out of a lunchbox amp. You won't be disappointed if you are looking for a heavy sound. But versatile enough to deliver for any style of music.

Revv G20, you can't go wrong

This is a fire breathing dragon, amp alone is a monster, more gain than you will ever need I don't care what style you play. Add the Two Notes Torpedo and load box it just becomes so versatile. It's just loaded with features but it has great tone as well. Perfect for on stage or recording. Takes pedals extremely well on the clean channel and my HX Stomp in 4 cable mode sounds the read more best it has ever sounded. I'm playing it though a Bluguitar Fatcab 1*12 and they match very well. I was concerned about pulling the trigger because of cost, however, its worth every penny, A good purchase for sure.

I have no words for this

This is easily the best amp I have ever had. The distortion channel is far better than anything else I have personally used. It sounds great out of the box but can be molded into whatever tone you want. This amp is also packed full of features from the convenient headphone output to the virtual cabinets, this amp is incredibly versatile and I can wait to see what it can do in a read more live setting.

All the Tone

What a monstrous little amp! The clean channel is an amazing pedal platform, similar to the D20, which I use to get that classic rock OD sound with a Klon clone. But the distortion channel is absolutely killer. You can push the gain to 11 without it getting fizzy or compressed sounding. Add on the Two Notes Torpedo and you have an all in one setup. My band using IEM's and now, with read more confidence, I don't feel like I need to bring my 4x12 to any more shows. While the price may seem higher for the mini head market, the value with the two notes direct out is enough in itself. Revv, like always, knocks it out of the ballpark.

The Ultimate Lunchbox Amp!

I've owned almost every lunchbox head there is, evh, engl, bogner, blackstar etc. This thing smokes them all. Not only is it a killer pedal platform amp but the 3 agression modes are literally like having the g2, g3 and g4 pedals built in to the amp, but the amp sounds wayy better than the pedals. The 4w mode is awesome for playing at bedroom level tones and the wide eq is killer. read more Really fattens up your tone and fills the room more. Plus the built in irs, load box and 2 notes are killer. I added the revv footwtsitch and that's a must have for this amp. Let's you channel switch, save presets, toggle wide eq on or off and add 2 notes reverb. This amp is a bit pricey, but considering all the features and tones its worth every penny. Ultimate gigging or recording amp. No cab needed when doing either. The possibilities are limitless. If you're on the fence about it, definitely pull the trigger. You'll never regret it!
