The one and only!!
Who needs all the fancy knobs and adjustments of modern wahs, when this one gives the smooth wah that the greats made famous. Only wah I'll ever use.
Classic Wah Pedal, Can't Go Wrong
I had one of these years ago, and the new one I ordered sounds as good as I remember. It sounds great on clean or distorted guitar, whether you're going for a funk vibe, Hendrix vibe or metal. I just tracked guitar on a cliche '70s sounding tune for a client and there were moments where I thought it sounded like Zappa. Authentic “WAH WAH” sound
Great pedal! Tested it out by playing 2 songs that highlight the Wah effect: Little Wing and Theme from Shaft. The crybaby delivered great authentic Wah effects on both tunes. Very happy with this purchase and my sales engineer, Brian Loney , at Sweetwater.
My favorite wah ever.
I owned one of these in high school and adored it. Got swept up by the Line 6 Pod XT Live and ended up selling all my pedals, my Crybaby included, to help pay for one. I wish I'd never done that. Idk if I've gotten heavy-footed over the years but it feels like the switch to engage the wah is a lot more sensitive, which is kinda cool but has also tripped me up a couple times. No big deal once I got used to it. I also love that the battery is accessible without having to remove the whole backplate now. My original crybaby required I take the feet off and remove the plate to change batteries. Not anymore. That's probably my favorite thing about this newer wah. I'm so glad I picked this up. Couldn't be happier.
The Original, 'nuff said
I recently purchased a Marshall DSL40CR combo amp, and the standard Cry Baby is one of the excellent accessories from Sweetwater that I've just added on.In addition to its great features and performance, this basic Wah is especially attractive given its modest asking price. Nonetheless, that doesn't take a thing away from it…- Built like a tank with a body constructed of powder… read more coated die-cast steel.- Entire top of pedal covered with rubber padding, along with large non-slip feet.- Smooth feeling, totally silent operation. No squeaking here!- Rugged true bypass switch, engaging/disengaging with a satisfying positive "click".- Most importantly, lush sound via a modern Italian-made Fasel inductor (revision "I"), which replaced the original "Black Core" inductor (revision "H" and earlier) back in 2004.Grazie molto, my Dunlop Paisans!
