Punchy. This thing is surprisingly punchy in the lower mids. Of course I would expect it to be nice and focused in the bottom end as most round shoulder j45s are but this one has a punchy mid that I've never heard on a j45 and some really nice sparkly not high highs like 10K highs but but 6K highs which is a great recording frequency plus it's got a nice 3.5 and not too much 400 read more which can be a nightmare

I can't say enough good things about this model. Yes, it's a world-class. strummer, but it works just as well for fingerpicking (thanks to the awesome spacing on the nut). It has resonance and sustain for days! I have wanted a J-45 forever, and this one caught my eye because of the late 69's period-correct features—that nice cream binding, the cool logo on the pickguard—it looks read more even more impressive in person. Played it for four hours straight the first night I had it and don't think I'll be putting it down anytime soon. BIG thank you to my sales engineer Ryan Springer for making this an easy and outstanding transaction as always!
