Martin Pick Up
This was my first attempt at retrofitting a guitar with an electronic pick up under the bridge. The instructions were well written and the only challenge is soldering the connection. Practice before you try it on the unit. Sound was perfect on the first attempt. This has given new life to my 1978 Takamine. Great kit and a great sound. Looking forward to the next project.
Martin gold plus acoustic pickup
The sound of this pickup is all and more than I expected. It has a rich and balanced tone that"s not too bassy not harsh when plugged into a PA. It doesn"t have a feed back problem either which you don"t need when doing live performances. I give the sound quality 5 stars. When installing this pickup, the instructions on the wiring could be a little better detailed and the battery… read more and pots could have a better mounting. Only a qualified tectnician should install this pickup system. Otherwise I"m really happy with this system
Awesome acoustic pickup!!
I used to use LR Baggs Anthem, which sounded amazing too, but this pickup has clarity, balanced eq throughout, and natural enough through PA system. I doubt it will sound natural when you record plugged in, but in live situations, I strongly suggest buying this pickup. It’s just an amazing system.
