I would recommend the rubber locks to go with this do to the sharpness of the cross sides.

I bought these for their cosmetic interest. And as usual with strap buttons the included attachment screws had to be replaced due to wrong diameter. Their were too small of a diameter to get a bite in the hole. Could have done the old toothpick and wood glue in the hole trick to make them work. Instead, I some wood screws of the correct diameter, I had to take the heads to my bench… read more grinder and reduce their circumference so they would fit inside the lower casing. Once done they look good and work great but some effort on the installers' part may be needed.
